Worked cost comparison methodology
The worked examples on the KleipData Pricing page compare KleipData with illustrative assembled alternatives using stated usage assumptions and publicly available market pricing.

The illustrative incumbent alternatives are not quotations from any individual supplier.
They combine publicly available pricing and stated implementation assumptions to illustrate the potential cost of assembling comparable capabilities.
1. Purpose of the comparison
The pricing page shows one bundled KleipData monthly service. Buyers frequently assemble a comparable capability from separate products — a user or platform licence, transactional search charges, API access, integration work and professional services. The worked examples estimate what that assembled approach could cost over a first year, so the two commercial models can be considered side by side.
The figures are illustrative and are not a statement about any named supplier’s pricing for a specific customer.
2. Small worked example
KleipData Small compared with an assembled incumbent alternative for a 10-user deployment.

£4,800 / month ex VAT (Up to 10 users), billed monthly with no fixed-term commitment. 12-month equivalent, shown only for comparison: £57,600 ex VAT (£4,800 × 12).

The worked comparison uses the approved illustrative ranges. The specific public pricing documents underpinning each cost component are being confirmed and will be published here with their source, published price and review date. Until then the entries below are placeholders — no external citation has yet been made.
Each component estimate is intended to be traceable to a publicly available pricing document. Entries marked “to be confirmed” have not yet been finalised and the related figure should be treated as indicative only.

6. Assumptions and limitations
Each worked example states its user count, annual operational workflow volume, integration requirements and assumed implementation days. Those assumptions are listed in the pricing drawer and in sections 2 and 3 above.
Actual supplier pricing may differ according to:

- volume discounts
- negotiated pricing
- framework terms
- configuration
- implementation requirements
- contract duration
The illustrative incumbent subtotals do not include separately required property/title, company-credit or KYC/AML services, and should not be read as a total cost of ownership.
7. VAT treatment
All KleipData amounts shown on the pricing page and in the comparison drawers are exclusive of VAT. VAT is added at the applicable rate and is not calculated in the comparison.
Illustrative incumbent figures are presented on the same ex-VAT basis wherever the underlying public pricing allows. If a source price uses a different VAT treatment, that is noted against the relevant source rather than silently converted.
